About Me

I’m a 37 year old Integrations Architect.

I’ve been involved in different aspects of the Software development lifecycle (SDLC) since the late 90s.

I am very involved in the Open Source movement through testing, implementation and ultimately evangelizing.  I’m not part of the ‘ivory tower architects’ movement, meaning;  I design, develop and ultimately implement (code) the solutions.  This includes evaluating ESB’s, straight up web services (SOA), Spring, Struts, blah, blah, blah (you get the picture).

I enjoy working for small start-ups.  The rush of making a box into a linux server, the server into a scalable enterprise application, the application into an extensible solution, etc, etc.  I’m big on Open Source (as I mentioned).  Anything a big vendor can do, the open source movement can too. :)   Give me your vision and we’ll do it for less, TRUST ME!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not all geek no play! –I like football and basically hanging out with my ‘homies’ whenever I get a chance.  My sons (Justin, Jeremy and Joshua) give me a run for my money.  My boys are my life and my life is my boys.  Of course, the bills have to get paid! ;)

I enjoy coaching soccer and baseball whenever I’m not on my laptop.
